#tweetcrawl is sorta becoming a big deal
The website Secrets of the City, sort of a “here’s what’s happening in Minneapolis” website, posted an online article about the #tweetcrawl. It’s was a blurb from Katie’s blog.
None the less, it’s pretty cool that word is spreading and its gaining familiarity. I predict in 2010 Tweetcrawls will be a big deal.
You should pretty much start doing them now...
In case you were wondering: the first #tweetcrawl will go down in the social media history books (databases?) as a success.
About two dozen tweeters showed for the inaugural event. We sat around, ordered drinks and food. We also tried to tweet our orders (cuz we’re cool like that). Few of us knew one another, so it was a great way to meet other awesome people in the Twin Cities.

I just registered for the 1/2 marathon. It’s the “Red, White & Boom Twin Cities Half Marathon.” It’s the first year of the race, so it’ll be pretty cool to run it in. Snowmageddon is on its way to the Twin Cities. By tomorrow night, Minneapolis and St. Paul (and the rest of the state) will be under a thick blanket of white fluffy snow. It’s December, I suppose it’s time it looks like winter around here.
