My friend Erica and I have started a tradition that I want to share with the world. Each day, we send one another a quote. They’re usually inspirational, but it can vary. We’ve only been doing it for about a week, but I really like it.

Since starting my new job, I’ve been trying to refocus myself away from negative thoughts and the gloom it comes with. I’ve bought some great books and learned to let things go. The quotes, as cheesy as it sounds, have helped me move my entire outlook on life to a better place.

Since I went to camp, I’ve kept a quote book. I write down quotes that I like, quotes that inspire me, or quotes that I relate to. They remind me to think big, stay focused and sometimes help me get through the day.
