What’s that? You didn’t know it’s the start of the NCAA season… it’s okay.

I’ve learned being a (#1 ranked) Kansas Jayhawk basketball fan makes being a Twins fan a whole lot more bearable. Point & case: baseball season ends late October (via World Series). November kicks off NCAA basketball season. Basketball games are once a week through the winter. The Jayhawks, like the Twins, play with passion and win. A lot. Then in March things heat up on the hardwood. The games get more exciting. They Hawks play more often. Just like the playoffs in baseball. The final four is in early April, and the basketball season is over.

Then, just when despair kicks in and another basketball season is put behind us: Baseball season starts. Early April means opening day… and all is well in the world.
