Just another terrible Tuesday

Ahhh! I’m so glad my day is almost over! I don’t think I can even pinpoint why today was so terrible. It was a chain of events at work when I all of a sudden felt like the world was crashing down upon me.

But, I’m moving past it. One of the guys I work with, Keith, once told me “you had a bad morning, it doesn’t have to be bad anymore.” And he’s right. I’m moving on.

Yesterday was good. Yesterday, One Tree Hill returned, Oprah kicked off her Best Life initiative, and Anthony Bourdain’s No Reservations is also back. All that is good in the world has returned.

One Tree Hill is one of my guiltiest pleasures (it’s a three way tie with Project Runway and ANTM). It’s so juicy and semi-realistic.

But let’s talk a minute about Anothy Bourdain. I met him a few months ago with Whitney. He’s just as kick ass in real life as he appears on the show. Totally engaging, crazy life stories and amazingly brilliant. I could spend all day with him… and really want to.

Someday, after I win the lottery and don’t have to work to survive, I want a travel show with my best friend Rachael. It won’t be fancy, just a small crew, we’ll all wear multiple hats to keep it a tight group. We’ll just travel around, try new things, explain traditions and cultures, then go to the next city. It’ll be fantastic, you’ll want to watch it.

Okay, so back to Oprah…

She’s doing a Best Life Week. I’m actually excited. Like her, I feel that these past few years I’ve prioritized my life and while making graduating college, finding a job and being a grown up, I somehow forgot to make myself a priority. So, I’m gonna give it a whirl, and follow what the all-knowing Oprah says to do. By the end of the year, we’ll be skinner, healthier and richer. And that can’t be bad, right?

Who’s with me?? Any tips or words for success?
