I’m having trouble finding who came up with this quote… and I know it’s been around for a while. None the less, it makes me proud to know that while the Civil Rights is not my direct history, it is part of the country’s. So in a sense, it is a part of my history. I hope that some day everyone will have equal rights, because I truly believe that we all deserve that. It’s a good time to be an American… but we can make this country better. And I believe our new president will lead the way. |
