Starbucks just announced it’s going to start selling instant coffee. As the Wall Street Journal put it “the company that made coffee into a luxury item, is taking on a new market: instant coffee.”

You can get your instant Starbucks fixes starting next month. Three packets will set you back $3… or you can get 12 for $10.

Looks like Starbucks is really desperate to get back in the black. It’s fired thousands of people and closed stores worldwide in the past few weeks because of plummeting sales.

Earlier this week, it also announced a value menu to get people back in the door. $4 will get you a coffee and food. Good deal considering a year ago it was $4 for just a Venti coffee.

BTW: bonus points if you actaully understand the sizing they use, cuz it’s always confused me.
